Real conversations, tasted products and a few honest lessons from Olistica & Benessere – and why every company should show up in person
We spend so much of our lives behind screens. We scroll, we like, we send messages, and somehow we feel less and less heard. Then you walk into an old villa in the Veneto countryside, sit down at a small table, and someone asks you, “How are you sleeping lately?” and actually waits for the answer.
That is what I found at Olistica & Benessere, the holistic wellness fair held on 12 and 13 September at Villa Farsetti in Santa Maria di Sala. I took part as a Be Health representative, and I came home tired, happy and full of thoughts. This article is my personal look back, and also a small argument for why every company, big or small, should be present at fairs like this one.

Setting the scene: two days at Villa Farsetti
A place with a soul
Villa Farsetti has the kind of walls that tell stories. Old stone, warm light, a calm you simply do not get in a modern exhibition hall. I loved it from the first minute. A wellness fair needs exactly this kind of atmosphere, because people come to slow down, not to rush past stands. Amazing, huge park with green around to enjoy.
My stand sat in this beautiful setting: the blue Be Health roll-up behind me, a shelf with clear yellow labels (Beauty & Collagene, Dimagrimento e Detox, Skincare), flyers on the table and a QR code that led straight to the brand. Simple, clean and easy to find.
Why I was there
My goal was clear from the beginning: to increase visibility, to build brand recognition for Be Health, and to introduce myself as the person behind it. Not a logo, not a profile picture, but a real Be Health representative you can look in the eye, ask questions and come back to.
The best part: sitting down and really talking
A chair changes everything
I did not want my stand to feel like a sales counter. I wanted it to feel like a small living room. So I put my effort into creating an atmosphere where people could sit down, take a breath and talk. And they did.
Some came with simple curiosity about collagen. Others came with something heavier: nights without proper sleep, tired skin, hair that had lost its strength, stress that had been there for years. When you offer a chair and a few minutes of real attention, people start telling you what is actually going on. and they had a place to relax and rest having the opportunity to talk about their health.
Those talks were the heart of the fair for me. No script, no rush. Just listening first, then suggesting.
Every person needs a different protocol
There is no universal answer in health. The woman who cannot sleep needs a different path from the one who wants to support her skin after fifty, and both are different from the person who simply wants more energy in the morning. So at the fair I worked on very personalized protocols, built around each person’s story, habits and goals.
I am not a doctor, and I never pretend to be. But I can listen, explain what I know about the products, and help someone see a routine that fits their real life. Many people left with a clear idea and a plan. For me, that was the best result I could have asked for.
Three languages, one table
Something I did not expect: many visitors came from different countries but have been living in Italy for a long time. That meant I could switch between Italian, English and even Polish depending on who sat in front of me.
There is something special in the moment when a person hears their own language and their shoulders drop. Suddenly they can explain a health problem in the exact words they have in their heart, not the ones they managed to find in a second language. This is a real advantage of meeting people face to face. Language, tone, a smile, a gesture – none of it survives in a comment under a post. I also had a chance to hear the Venetian dialect. Not easy to understand.
Taste, touch and the visual side of a product
Trying is believing
You can write about a product for months, but nothing replaces the moment somebody tries it. At the fair, visitors could taste Collagen Supreme and CollMag. I also offered samples of two products I love talking about: My Relax, meant to support the quality of sleep, and Supernova with patented Verisol collagen for skin and hair.
Watching faces during the tasting was priceless. Taste is an honest judge. They said: It’s good, tastes good. If a supplement is pleasant, people keep using it, and consistency is what makes the difference in any wellness routine. A fair gives a brand something a website never can: the immediate, unfiltered reaction. Too sweet, too light, surprisingly pleasant – every comment is useful information. I was very courious of people’s reactions.
A stand that is easy to trust
Looks matter too, and I say this with respect for the product, not for vanity. People decide in a few seconds whether to come closer. My stand was clean and professional, easy to find, with a clear roll-up, an organized shelf, printed flyers and a fair promo offer for those who wanted to start right away. A tidy, coherent visual says: we take what we do seriously. When the packaging, the flyers and the person behind the table all tell the same story, trust comes much faster.

Why every company should be at fairs
Visibility that feels human
Online visibility is important, but it is also crowded. At a fair, your brand is in a real place, in front of people who chose to be there, curious about wellness and open to discovering something new. Two days of face-to-face introductions carry a weight that is hard to reach with posts alone. People remember a face, a voice and a taste much longer than a scroll.
Exchanging opinions
A fair is also a mirror. Visitors tell you what they think, what they are looking for, what confuses them and what they would like to see. Other exhibitors share their experiences and ideas, and sometimes even possible collaborations.
I came home with new contacts and with a clearer picture of what people around me really need. That kind of feedback is honest and immediate, and no survey can give it in the same way.
Being recognised in your own territory
Every brand lives in a territory. For me, that territory is the Veneto, the place where I live and work, and where I want Be Health to become a familiar name. Fairs like Olistica & Benessere connect a brand to a place: people see you, remember your face, and start to associate a product with a region and a community. Recognition does not happen by accident. It grows slowly, conversation by conversation, and events in beautiful local places are one of the best places to plant those seeds.
The self-check: what I want to work on next
A fair is not only about showing what you do well. It is also an honest check-up, and I try to use it that way.
Follow-up with care
The conversations do not end when the fair ends. Now the real work begins: contacting people, keeping the promise of a personalized protocol, and following up with care rather than pressure. I want a simple system so that no conversation gets lost.
Listening to what people ask
Whatever came up most often at my table is my homework. It tells me what to write, explain and prepare next, in my articles, my content and my next events.
