Building Toward What’s Next

Over a year ago, I found myself searching for a way to restart my career on my own terms. Staying home with my daughter meant a regular job wasn’t an option, but I still dreamed of building something of my own, something with the potential to grow into a real, global business. After nearly two decades building international business – developing markets across Europe, India, and Africa within the tourism industry – I walked away from an industry I understood inside and out, to start again in something completely unfamiliar: nutraceuticals, collagen science, and wellness.

I didn’t do it because tourism had stopped working for me. I did it because I wanted to build something that aligned more closely with what I believe matters: people’s health, understood not through trends, but through real science.

This September, that decision reaches a new milestone. On 12-13 September 2026, I’ll be representing Be Health at Olistica & Benessere, held in the elegant setting of Villa Farsetti in Santa Maria di Sala (VE), Italy – and for me, this fair isn’t just another stop on the calendar. It’s a marker of how far this new chapter has come, and where it’s headed next.

Starting From Zero, Again

Restarting a career means restarting your credibility. When I moved into wellness, I had no existing network in the sector, no track record with this audience, and none of the shortcuts that come from years inside an industry. What I did have was two decades of experience building things that didn’t exist yet – markets, partnerships, trust – in places where nobody was waiting for me either.

That experience turned out to matter more than I expected. Business development, at its core, is the same discipline no matter the product: understand what people actually need, communicate value clearly, and build relationships that last longer than a single transaction. What changed wasn’t the skill set. What changed was the mission behind it. I chose Be Health because I wanted to represent something backed by real evidence, not just packaging. That distinction – science over marketing – has shaped everything I’ve built since.

From Local Content to International Fairs

Over the past two years, growth has looked like a series of deliberate steps rather than one big leap. I built a multilingual presence Italian, Polish, and English creating content, developing partnerships, and helping new collaborators understand not just the products, but the business model behind them.

That groundwork is what makes a fair like Olistica & Benessere possible now. A year ago, showing up at a wellness fair representing an international nutraceutical brand wasn’t something I was ready for. Today, it’s a natural next step because the audience, the content, and the trust have all been built, piece by piece, in the background.

Olistica & Benessere itself is going through a similar evolution. What began as a single spring event has grown into a biannual fair, with this September marking its first-ever autumn edition. There’s something fitting about that timing – both the fair’s growth and my own path within Be Health are expanding in parallel, each stepping into a bigger version of what they started as.

Why This Fair, Specifically

Villa Farsetti isn’t a generic trade show floor. Olistica & Benessere is built around holistic wellbeing, natural living, and conscious health choices – an audience that already understands, on some level, that the body deserves more attention than it usually gets. That’s exactly the audience I want to reach, because it’s the audience most ready to hear what Be Health has to say.

The fair brings together exhibitors, workshops, and conferences dedicated to physical, mental, and energetic wellbeing which means the people walking through Villa Farsetti aren’t casual passersby. They’re actively looking for better answers about their health. For a brand built on patented, clinically studied ingredients like Verisol® and Fortigel®, that’s precisely the environment where substance gets noticed.

This is also why representing Be Health at this specific event matters to my own growth as a business developer. It’s not just visibility it’s positioning. Being present at a fair aligned with real wellness values reinforces the kind of brand ambassador I want to be: one who shows up where the message actually lands, not just where the foot traffic is highest.

What “Leveling Up” Actually Means

People sometimes assume growth in this kind of role means bigger numbers: more followers, more sales, more partners. Those things matter, but they’re not what I think about most when I look at Olistica & Benessere on the calendar.

What I think about is trust, built one interaction at a time. A fair is a chance to have real conversations not a script, not a funnel, but an actual exchange with someone standing in front of me, asking a genuine question about their skin, their joints, their energy. Those conversations are where partnerships start. Some of the strongest collaborators I’ve brought into Be Health didn’t come from an ad – they came from a conversation that started with curiosity and ended with someone deciding they wanted to be part of this, too. That’s the version of “leveling up” I’m chasing. Fairs like this one let me demonstrate, in person, what two years of building has actually produced: a business developer who understands both the science behind the products and the human reasons people choose to trust a brand

Building Toward What’s Next

Every fair is also a data point for where the business goes next. Meeting people face to face gives me a clearer sense of what resonates, what questions come up again and again, and where the real appetite lies for the products, for the wellness protocol behind them, and for the business opportunity itself.

I’ll be honest: two years ago, I didn’t know exactly where this path would lead. I knew I wanted to build something meaningful in a sector I believed in. Standing at Villa Farsetti this September, representing a company built on patented collagen science, talking to people who came specifically looking for better answers about their health that’s further than I expected to be this soon.

And it’s not the destination. It’s the next step in a longer plan to bring Be Health further into international markets, build a stronger community of business partners, and keep proving that a career restart, done with intention, can lead somewhere better than where you started.

If you’re curious what visitors will actually experience at the Be Health stand – the free wellness test, the products, and a little surprise waiting for you – I’ve written all about it in the companion article.

See you at Villa Farsetti, 12-13 September 2026.
